J'ai lu les Howto sur les CDROMs et le gravage sous Linux. J'ai compris bien des
choses...Notamment, j'ai pu réparé mon pb d'accès aux deux lecteurs que je vous
avais soumis. Un vulgaire pb de lien qu'un 'How to burn CD's under SuSE Linux
7.x ?' mal compris m'avait fait mal configuré...
À présent, j'ai un pb avec Xcdroast.
J'ai compris qu'il ne reconnaissait pas les périphériques IDE et qu'il fallait
émuler le lecteur CDROM IDE en SCSI, sachant qu'il est en "esclave primaire",
donc hdb.
J'ai donc ajouté une ligne au fichier /sbin/init.d/boot.local
/sbin/modprobe ide-scsi
pour que le noyau prenne en compte l'émulation de l'IDE en SCSI.
J'ai inclu au fichier /etc/lilo.conf à la ligne d'append :
hdb=ide-scsi
pour que l'émulation prenne en compte mon lecteur CDROM, désigné comme le périph
/dev/hdb.
Jusque là, je ne crois pas avoir commis d'erreurs...
D'après ce que j'ai pu lire, après ces manips, lorsqu'on reboote, on devrait
pouvoir lire dans le 'dmesg' que le lecteur est reconnu une première fois comme
d'habitude puis il est à nouveau reconnu mais cette fois comme un lecteur scsi.
Or je ne sais pas voir cette nouvelle reconnaissance :-(( C'est indispensable
car on doit reconfigurer alors le fichier /etc/fstab... Quelqu'un peut-il
m'aider ?
