Dear Sir or Madame, I am studying Ethernet II standard. But I do not know how the upper-layer and lower-layer protocols (assume that the upper-layer protocol is IP) send and receive data from data-link layer (Ethernet). Could you show me functions that allow the data-link layer (ethernet II) sends/receives data to upper-layer/lower-layer? And could you give me some detail documents about this topic?
