Je viens ici vous signaler que les trop modestes Pierre Lorenzon et Roger Mampey semblent avoir abouti à une version francophone de la synthèse de vocale Festival utilisable avec le serveur de parole Speech Dispatcher mis au point par nos amis tchèques de FreeBSoft.org.

C'est une ouverture très intéressante vers un bureau vocal en français. La 1ère application peut en être l'utilisation de speechd.el - mis au point par Milan Zamazal de FreeBSoft.org - qui permet de faire parler Emacs avec une surcouche plus légère qu'Emacspeak.

Hi,

Now problem now, Franfest works with the
speech dispatcher as well as with the emacs client.
The puntuation mode doesn't works so good as in english
but it comes from the fact that certain symbols
are not pronounced by FranFest and will be improved
soon.
